Who’s Organizing

The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) is Europe's largest public research organisation and one of the world's leading scientific institutions.

Operating under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the CNRS advances knowledge across all scientific disciplines, promotes the transfer of research to society, supports scientific training and contributes to national and international research policy.The CNRS is co-organising the ISGC Symposium through its research federation FR CNRS 3707 – INCREASE (International Consortium on Eco-conception and Renewable Resources).

Institut Pprime is a leading French research institute specialising in physics and engineering sciences, with expertise spanning mechanics, materials and energy.

A joint research unit of CNRS, ISAE-ENSMA and the University of Poitiers, Institut Pprime conducts fundamental and applied research addressing major scientific and technological challenges. Its work notably covers fluid mechanics, combustion, reactive flows, materials and mechanical engineering. The institute contributes to ICDERS 2027 through its internationally recognised expertise in combustion, explosions and reactive systems.

ISAE-ENSMA is a French engineering school renowned for its expertise in aeronautics, space, transportation and advanced engineering sciences.

Based near Poitiers and part of the ISAE Group, the school combines high-level engineering education with internationally recognised research. Its activities cover aerodynamics, energy, propulsion, materials, structures and computer science, with strong links to Institut Pprime and the aerospace industry. ISAE-ENSMA is one of the academic institutions involved in the organisation of ICDERS 2027.

The University of Poitiers is one of France’s historic universities, combining multidisciplinary education with internationally recognised research.

Founded in 1431, the University brings together a broad range of disciplines across science, engineering, health, humanities and social sciences. Through its research laboratories and partnerships with organisations such as CNRS and ISAE-ENSMA, it contributes to scientific innovation and international collaboration. The University of Poitiers is among the institutions supporting the organisation of ICDERS 2027.
